I chose to look at Weebly because it is a free way for someone to make a website for their portfolio. they give you lots of options to pick from when creating your website. once you create a website off off Weebly people can start viewing your work, and they can start purchasing designs or prints that you add to your website. I think it very cool that you could potentially make money off of a website your created for free. I really like that Weebly gives you the option to create a website for free because some people don’t have the money to pay a monthly subscription to have there own website. But with Weebly you can start getting your name out their for free.

Behance is a portfolio website owned by adobe. Most use this website for displaying their artwork whether that be designing, illustration, or traditional artwork. You can create a website with their services for free and you can use your email address to make it our your Facebook, Gmail or apple account. On the main page of Behance they showcase artist pages. You can click on a page a view their page with ease. As you scroll through their page you can tell how much individuality is in their website, Each pages is unique to the artist that each of their own twist on their page. You can also follow and like these pages and on the main page of Behance you can see how many likes and views each pages has on the bottom of their photo show on the main page. One artists page stood out to me while I was look through the Behance website. The artists name is Syazwien Jaapar and she is an illustrator from Malaysia. Her page was full of bright and fun colors that caught my attention when scrolling through the main page of Behance and looking through her portfolio I really could get a feel for her as an artist and as a person. Like her portfolio her artwork also heavily featured bright and vibrant colors. Her work was incredible to look at and gave me a lot of inspiration for how I would like my portfolio website to look.

Dribbble is an online site aimed for people’s personal use. It allows individuals or teams of people to post all sorts of different work created by them. There are different categories including animation, branding, typography, web design, and more. Dribbble also allows the user to make comments on someones work, just like you can here on WordPress, as well allowing the user to like anyones post that you find interesting. It has options for regular memberships and has the option for a user to get a pro membership, which is exclusively for Freelancers.

The creative viewing work site I chose for this vlog is the site Cargo. They allow for complete customization of your website. They give you a free trial and then you would be charged $14 per month billed yearly and $19 per month billed monthly. They have a wide variety in the fonts that one could choose from as well and feature the work of graphic designers on their page under their “sites in use tab” as well as show you what it can look like being used for graphic design under the templates tab.
